CV
Education
I prepared my PhD in statistical ecology between 2020 and 2024 under the supervision of Stéphane Dray and Hervé Fritz.
The aim was to develop statistical methods and software tools to analyze ecological networks and community data. It led me to explore a variety of methods: first, I used and extended multivariate methods in the correspondence analysis family to study trait matching (more here). Then, I used the Hawkes point process to infer interactions from camera trap data (more here). Finally, I developed software tools to analyze camera trap data (see here).
Professional experience
Since November 2024, I work as a postdoctoral fellow at FRB-Cesab. Together with the consortium of the DRAGON project, I investigate the response of European dragonflies to anthropogenic pressures through occupancy models (more here).
Other academic activities
- Associate data editor (January 2026 - present)
Proceedings of the Royal Society B - SORTEE conference committee member (January 2026 - present)
Society for Open, Reliable and Transparent Ecology and Evolutionary Biology
Scientific popularization
I also love sharing science with a wider audience. Some if the projects I took part in are the creation of a video game about plant-frugivore interactions (Frugivora), presenting my PhD project during talks or talking about science on row boats.
